Wait, stop that movie!

Tonight, we were watching Ironman. I took the boys to see this when it was in the theater some time ago. About an hour into the movie, when Tony Stark reveals his arc generator heart to his partner, in the background are two stainless steel tanks. But this is not what Aaron noticed. On each of the tanks is a sticker. This sticker is what made Aaron yell out: WAIT, STOP THE MOVIE!

See, this is something that they teach our kids in school, at DHMC. The sticker is a National Fire Protection Agency sticker. This sticker helps emergency personnel know how to deal with(or NOT deal with) the contents of whatever containers bears the sticker. So Aaron saw that the two vessels in the background of the scene in the movie had low flashpoints(one higher than the other) and one of them should not be put in contact with water. Nasty stuff. And he was so excited to recognize this stuff, he had to yell it out and determine just what those hazards are. Once the movie stopped, Adam saw it, too. So, next time you see this movie, take a close look at the background in that scene and learn something.

I love my kids.
